Using Dating Communication Rhythm Checklist
When to use this
Use this early in dating, when message frequency has become a source of anxiety for either person. It works better as a conversation opener than as a private audit.
How to read the result
A rhythm is workable when both people can predict it, not when it is frequent. Daily contact that one person finds suffocating is worse than every few days that both expect. Look for mismatch, not for volume.
What this tool cannot do
The checklist describes a preference, not a rule the other person owes you. It also does not apply to situations involving pressure or control, which are a different problem and not a scheduling one.
Next step
Agree one thing explicitly, such as what a slow reply does and does not mean. Most message anxiety is uncertainty rather than frequency, and a single shared expectation removes more of it than any change in how often you text.
